Global Context
Lack of education in developing countries can be solved at the global level. Government can allocate direct financial assistance to build schools, provide simple school materials, and to train teachers. Citizens can also donate money to organizations or by providing other helpful sources. There are many organizations that fundraise money to help some of this countries with school supplies and even to build schools. According to the organization Entreculturas, 759 million adult people worldwide do not have the basic knowledge in reading, writing and calculation. More than 67 million children do not have access to school and this limitation will determine their lives. Global issues are difficult to address because not everyone is interested in helping others because they have their own issues that they have to address. Perhaps if other countries were willing to give up spending money on the construction of weapons and give the money to countries who have the necessity to grow economically the world would be much different. A young activist named Malala Yousafzai is a 16 year old from Pakistan. She is a young activist who fought for her education and is fighting for the education of thousands of more girls. The Taliban had banned girls from attending school and any girl who attended school was murdered. She then started to speak up for herself and all the girls who were demanding an education. In September 2008, she gave a speech that was titled “How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to education.” After she started speaking up she started receiving death threats, until she was shot by the a Taliban man. The whole world got sympathy and consideration. Just like Malala there is other youth in the world who want to pursue an education but unfortunately they are not as successful as Malala.
National Context

Even in the United States there is poor education based on the students income and the area where the school is located. Lack of education is different to other issues because this is a developed country and there are schools and kids are made sure to have an education.
